Christmas Concert

Kyle sang "I Want a Hippopatomus for Christmas," "Somebody Sniched on Me," "I'm Getting Nothing for Christmas," and "Have a Holly, Jolly Christmas" at his school's Christmas Concert. He chewed gum while he expressively sang each song. I wish a had a camcorder to capture those precious moments. Kyle absolutely loves his Fine Arts class and teacher.

Santa Claus

Kyle had a Primary Activity where the children made Christmas ornaments and sang carols at a local nursing home. After treats at the church, he and Kelsey got to visit with Santa. Unfortunately, Kelsey didn't last long on his lap before she started screaming, but Kyle got to tell him about his new obsession with monster trucks.

Thanksgiving!

We went to Utah to see Shelia in the hospital and made it back to Wendover just in time for Thanksgiving dinner. The boys went up in the mountains and Kyle "shot" his first two point deer. We took family pictures and spent time with cousin Makayla. Kelsey even enjoyed a Dr. Pepper in honor of both her grandmas. Happy Turkey Day!

Yummy!

Kyle usually likes to take pictures of himself but he took this cute photo of his sister in her highchair and did a great job. We also allowed Kelsey to have her first sucker and she was so proud of it, but that only lasted a minute before it ended up in the carpet- yuck!

Paws-itive Kindergartener

Kyle did excellent on his very first report card so we celebrated with dinner and a movie in Sherman. He knows all his letters and sounds and is starting to read sight words. He can usually sound out three to four letter words, too. He was also the Good Citizen for the second six weeks of school which entitled him to a certificate, his name in the newsletter, pictures in the hallway at school, a leopard paw pencil, and two pieces of candy. Good job, buckaroo! Check out the cute headdress he made for his Thanksgiving Feast at school!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Allison came to Texas and Kevin worked on her teeth in preparation for the big day. Jonathan, Mom, and Dad spent the weekend with us celebrating an early Thanksgiving. We will be spending Thanksgiving Day in Utah where Shelia was just diagnosed with colon cancer. We love you and are praying for you, Grandma Stewart!

Mr. Incredible and Ms. Cutie

Kyle just got his second six weeks report and is learning at an incredible rate! He was the super citizen of the month as well- we're so proud of the good boy he is becoming. Kelsey is crawling and also learning new things about her world every day. They are both growing up way too fast!

It's Autumn Time

The leaves are falling down in our front and back yard. We have four oak trees with lots of acorns and a pecan tree too. Kyle loved raking the leaves and jumping into them. Kelsey didn't know what to think of all those leaves. Can you find my camouflaged babies?

Happy Halloween!

Kelsey was an angel and Kyle was Elvis for Halloween. We even made a haunted chocolate house!

Happy in a Hammock!

Now that we have trees, we were finally able to hang up the hammock that Andrew sent us from Brazil when we got married. Kyle loves our big back yard and often relaxes in his secret hideout. Kelsey loves the swinging motion too- rock a bye, baby!

I Love to Swing!

We took Kyle and Kelsey to the park the other day and Kelsey loves to swing!

Clowning Around

Kyle has had a blast at grandma and grandpa's house this weekend! He made cookies, read books, played with animals and dinosaurs and, of course, had to bring dinowar!

Say Cheese!

Kyle took school and class pictures last week in his black leather jacket that he never takes off even when it is hot and humid! Doesn't he look like a little rebel in the class photo? Bad to the bone! I ordered the cd so let me know what sizes you want or you can order online at www.ultimateexposures.com and I'll give you the sitting number.

Cute Cupcake

Just look at our sweetie eating a chocolate cupcake and doesn't she look a lot like her Grandma Johnson in her wide brimmed hat and sunglasses!

Pirate Pair

It was "Talk Like a Pirate Day" so we dressed up, hid treasure around the house, and even had seafaring food! Kyle loves to play Captain Hook or Peter Pan and have Kelsey pretend to be Wendy or Tinkerbell. He found the dough kneading hook that attaches to my Kitchen Aid and that made his costume complete!

Back to School

I can't believe that my baby is in Kindergarten! He is in Mrs. Wiginton's class and he comes home everyday singing a new song. He got a brand new spiderman backpack and even took his teacher an apple on the first day.

House in Texas

We found a house to rent in Gainesville so our temporary address will be 1102 Aspen Rd. Gainesville, Texas 76240. I can't believe we are moving this weekend and that Kevin starts work next Monday! This is all happening so fast and we owe it all to the power of prayer.

Pump it up!

Kyle got his new blue pump and we are learning how to use it! It has a remote that is also a meter and it talks to the pump so that together they calculate the amount of insulin needed and deliver it. We are so amazed with the advances in medicine and science that are helping us to better control his diabetes! Now he is ready for Kindergarten!

Kevin's Dental Office

Kevin just got his Texas dental license and we are moving to Gainesville to work at Gage Dental. We are so excited that we finally found a place to practice but a little intimidated about the short time we have to get there before school starts for Kyle. We will definately miss all of our friends and family here in Las Vegas. Wish us luck on our new adventure!

We went to Gainsville, Texas last weekend to look at a dental practice there. Grandma and Grandpa Enright along with Uncle Jonathan met us and we went to a chicken place called Babes. The above picture was taken there. The food was yummy but the atmosphere and company was even better.

Happy Mother's Day

We had Kelsey Lauren's baby blessing on Mother's Day after Kevin's graduation. What a happy day to spend with family and friends.

Make a Wish

Kyle wanted a Batman party for his fifth birthday and here he is blowing out his candles. He has grown up so fast and I can't believe he will be in Kindergarten in the fall.

Graduations

Kyle graduated from Preschool this year and Kevin graduated from dental school. We are so proud of our two boys for all their hard work.

Temple Trip

The primary theme this year is "My Eternal Family" so our Primary went on a trip to the Temple. We finally got a picture of our whole family and we were the Mystery Family of the Week in Primary.
