Christmas Concert

Kyle sang "I Want a Hippopatomus for Christmas," "Somebody Sniched on Me," "I'm Getting Nothing for Christmas," and "Have a Holly, Jolly Christmas" at his school's Christmas Concert. He chewed gum while he expressively sang each song. I wish a had a camcorder to capture those precious moments. Kyle absolutely loves his Fine Arts class and teacher.

Santa Claus

Kyle had a Primary Activity where the children made Christmas ornaments and sang carols at a local nursing home. After treats at the church, he and Kelsey got to visit with Santa. Unfortunately, Kelsey didn't last long on his lap before she started screaming, but Kyle got to tell him about his new obsession with monster trucks.

Thanksgiving!

We went to Utah to see Shelia in the hospital and made it back to Wendover just in time for Thanksgiving dinner. The boys went up in the mountains and Kyle "shot" his first two point deer. We took family pictures and spent time with cousin Makayla. Kelsey even enjoyed a Dr. Pepper in honor of both her grandmas. Happy Turkey Day!

Yummy!

Kyle usually likes to take pictures of himself but he took this cute photo of his sister in her highchair and did a great job. We also allowed Kelsey to have her first sucker and she was so proud of it, but that only lasted a minute before it ended up in the carpet- yuck!

Paws-itive Kindergartener

Kyle did excellent on his very first report card so we celebrated with dinner and a movie in Sherman. He knows all his letters and sounds and is starting to read sight words. He can usually sound out three to four letter words, too. He was also the Good Citizen for the second six weeks of school which entitled him to a certificate, his name in the newsletter, pictures in the hallway at school, a leopard paw pencil, and two pieces of candy. Good job, buckaroo! Check out the cute headdress he made for his Thanksgiving Feast at school!
